Its lovely Lil - I think the Dark line could be either a "drop shadow line" if you have put that on your outer circle to make it into a frame or its a very small gap between the edge of the inner...

The beauty of this way is that it works for both inside/outside the curve, top or bottom. When drawing the circle or oval for the top curved text, I have the WIDTH set at 1..Retain Style unchecked......
